So, I’ve decided that I want all my servers to have their bezels, and everything be on sliding rails. Over the weekend, while I was decomming the old ESXI04, (c240 m4, Intel E5 v4 CPUs), I decided now was a good time to put things on rails, put the UPS in the rack, etc. I now have all but one server on rails.
This is the final set of rails. As you can see, they arrived broken and bent. I’m going to try and make it work, we’ll see. If I can get the posts bent and they properly fit into the cabinet, I should be good.
But for now. Here’s a new picture of the cabinet. I updated my BOM, but I should have instead created a new one.
